MelloTone Studios LLC

We are an independent software company that makes audio apps. One product so far, used by more than half a million people, and a second platform on the way.

What we do

We build tools that use sound to help people sleep, concentrate and settle down. That means binaural beats and isochronic tones generated on the device rather than played back from recordings, a library of ambient and nature sound, the Solfeggio frequencies, and guided breathing patterns. The work we care most about is the part that lets people combine all of it themselves instead of picking from a fixed menu.

How we work

Small, self funded and slow on purpose. We would rather ship one thing that holds up every night than a stream of features nobody asked for. We do not sell advertising, and we do not sell anyone's personal information. The apps run offline because a sleep tool that needs a signal is not a sleep tool.

We also try to be careful about what we claim. Sound can make a room easier to fall asleep in and can give a busy mind one steady thing to follow. It is not medicine, our apps are not medical devices, and we do not describe them as treatment.
